* Vorstellung der studentischen Gleichstellungsbeauftragten
Moin, wir sind Laila und Jona aus dem FSR und seit diesem Semester Ansprechpersonen für das Thema Gleichstellung (das heißt Diskriminierungen jeglicher Art). Falls ihr euch also in einer Lage befindet, in der ihr euch ungerecht behandelt fühlt, und euch erstmal an eine unbeteiligte Person wenden wollt, meldet euch gerne bei uns. Wir hören euch gerne zu und überlegen uns dann gemeinsam eine Lösung und begleiten euch gegebenenfalls bei weiteren Maßnahmen und Schritten. Ihr könnt uns ganz ungezwungen und vertraulich eine Mail schreiben oder ihr sprecht uns direkt an.

* Evaluationen
Wie jedes Semester wird der FSR auch in diesem die Evaluation der Lehrveranstaltungen organisieren. Da die Umfrage wieder mithilfe der Technik der Zentralen Evaluationsstelle durchgeführt wird, sieht der Umfragebogen anders aus als sonst. Hier könnt ihr Feedback zu euren Veranstaltungen geben und dazu beitragen, dass die Lehre verbessert wird. Die Evaluation findet
in der Woche vom 30.05. bis 5.06.
(die Woche ist wegen einem Feiertag leicht verschoben)
statt. In dieser Woche werden wir in eure Veranstaltungen kommen und mit euch die Evaluation durchführen. Ihr solltet vorab von euren Lehrenden einen Link zu einem Online-Formular erhalten, in dem ihr dann anonymisiert eure Rückmeldungen abgeben könnt. In der Lehrveranstaltung bekommt ihr dann etwa 15 Minuten Zeit, das Formular auszufüllen. Natürlich könnt ihr die Evaluation auch von zu Hause aus ausfüllen.
Regelmäßige Schachabende
Nach so vielen erfolgreichen Schachturnieren wollen wir nun regelmäßig Schabende anbieten. Hier könnt ihr Schach lernen, euer Eröffnungs- und Endgamewissen trainieren oder einfach ein paar entspannte Matches spielen. Anfänger und erfahrene Spieler sind willkommen mitzumachen

ab 18 Uhr (s.t.) (open end).

Karaokeabend
Am
Mittwoch, den 7. Juni ab 18 Uhr im H4
veranstalten wir einen Karaokeabend! Egal ob Klassiker, geheime Lieblinge oder was auch immer, ihr seid herzlich eingeladen, mit uns zu singen.
Fahrradtour
Am
Samstag, dem 17.6.23 um 12:15 Uhr
(bzw. 24.6, falls das Wetter schlecht ist)
organisieren wir eine Radtour im Hamburger Umland. Treffpunkt ist vor dem Geomatikum. Falls das Wetter schlecht (angekündigt) sein sollte, sagen wir euch vorher Bescheid, ob die Radtour stattfindet. Sendet dazu bitte eine Nachricht an Henri, damit wir euch zu einer WhatsApp-Gruppe hinzufügen können, worüber die Infos kommen. Alternativ könnt ihr euch anders bei uns melden (etwa per Mail) und wir informieren euch über etwaige Änderungen.
Jetzt zum Inhalt der Tour: Der Plan ist gemeinsam in einem gemütlichen(!) Tempo entweder nach Glückstadt, Stade oder durch die Lüneburger Heide zu fahren. Das entscheiden wir demokratisch vorher, nachdem alle drei Touren erläutert wurden. Kommt gern zahlreich und bringt Freunde mit! Wir freuen uns auf euch :)
(Kosten für Bahntickets/Fahrradtickets für die Rückfahrt müssen selbst getragen werden)
Duell "Mathe gegen Physik"
Am
Freitag, dem 30. Juni ab 18 Uhr im Geomatikum
(Hörsaal wird noch bekannt gegeben)
könnt ihr zeigen, was ihr könnt und euch gegen Physik Studierende messen. In den jeweiligen Herausforderungen könnt ihr wie in "Schlag den Raab" für die Mathematik gegen eine Person aus der Physik antreten. Wir freuen uns auf euch!
Sommerfest
Der Termin für unser Sommerfest steht! Damit ihr euch den Abend schon mal freihalten könnt: Am
Freitag, den 7. Juli,
werden wir zusammenkommen und grillen und eine schöne Zeit haben. Weitere Informationen folgen.
Komplett unzusammenhängend: Die Nasenlöcher von Schnabeltiere liegen recht weit vorne am Schnabel, sodass Schnabeltiere, wenn sie etwas unter der Wasseroberfläche schwimmen, wie durch einen Schnorchel atmen können.

We are Laila and Jona from the student council (FSR) and starting this semester we are the contact persons for the topic of equality (that means discrimination of any kind). So if you find yourself in a situation where you feel treated unfairly and would like to talk to an uninvolved person, feel free to contact us. We will be happy to listen to you and then work out a solution together and, if necessary, accompany you in any further measures. You can send us a confidential and informal email or you can talk to us directly.

* Evaluations
As every semester, the student council (FSR) will organize the evaluation of the courses. Since the survey will again be conducted with the help of the technology of the Central Evaluation Office, the survey questionnaire will look different than usual. Here you can give feedback on your courses and help to improve the teaching. The evaluation will take place
in the week from 30.05. to 5.06.
(the week is slightly shifted because of a public holiday)
During this week we will come to your classes and do the evaluation with you. You should receive a link to an online form from your teachers in advance, where you can anonymously submit your feedback. In the course you will be given about 15 minutes to fill out the form. Of course, you can also fill out the evaluation from home.
Periodic chess evenings
After so many successful chess tournaments, we now want to offer regular „chess-evenings“. Here you can learn chess, train your opening and endgame knowledge or simply play a few relaxed matches. Beginners and experienced players are welcome, begining from the 02.06, to join
every Friday in room 241 from 6 p.m. (s.t.) (open end)

Karaoke night

Wednesday, June 7 from 6 p.m. in H4
we will organize a karaoke evening! Whether classics, secret favorites or whatever, you are welcome to sing with us.
Bike Tour
On
Saturday 17th of June at 12:15 p.m.
(or 24.06. if the weather is bad)
we will organize a bike tour in the area around Hamburg. The meeting point is infront of the Geomatikum. If the weather (forecast) should be bad, we will let you know in advance whether the bike tour will take place. For us to be able to do so, please send a message to Henri so that we can add you to a WhatsApp group, which will provide the information. Alternatively, you can contact us in a different way (e.g. by e-mail) and we will inform you of any changes.
Now for the content of the tour: The plan is to drive together at a comfortable(!) pace either to Glückstadt, Stade or through the Lüneburger Heide. We will decide that democratically after all three tours have been explained. Feel free to come and bring friends! We look forward to you :)

Math vs Physics
On
Friday the 30th of June from 6 p.m. in the Geomatikum
(lecture hall to be announced)
you can compete against physics students. In the respective challenges you can compete against a physicist for the department of mathematics as in "Schlag den Raab". We look forward to you!
Summer party
The date for our summer party is set! So you can already save the date: On
Friday, July 7,
we will get together and have a barbecue and a good time. More information will follow.
Completely unrelated: The nostrils of platypuses are quite far forward on the beak, so when they swim slightly below the surface of the water, platypuses can breathe as if through a snorkel.
