Liebe Kommiliton*innen,

wir als FSR möchten Euch auf die Initiative TVStud hinweisen – das ist insbesondere für diejenigen von Euch interessant, die als studentische Angestellte bei der Uni arbeiten: Den Tutor*innen und studentischen Hilfskräften unter Euch sind die prekären Arbeitsbedingungen und die je nach Korrekturaufwand sehr niedrige Bezahlung bekannt. TVStud setzt sich dafür ein, dass sich Arbeitsbedingungen und Bezahlung für studentische Angestellte verbessern. Sie sind dafür unter anderem im Gespräch mit den Verantwortlichen in Hamburg sowie bundesweit und organisieren Demonstrationen und Streiks. Ihr könnt euch auf der Internetseite von TVStud in Hamburg

  nächste Woche Dienstag, 29. November um 17:00 
  vor der Fraktion der Grünen, Burchardstraße 21

eine Kundgebung für die Einrichtung eines studentischen Personalrats. Unabhängig davon arbeitet der FSR Mathematik daran, fachbereichsintern studentische Angestellte zu vernetzen. Wenn ihr also momentan als Studierende im Fachbereich angestellt seid oder das in letzter Zeit wart, meldet euch gerne bei uns! Ihr könnt uns an unsere E-Mail-Adresse fsr@math.uni-hamburg.de schreiben oder einfach im TG, Raum T30 vorbeikommen. Das TG ist nur per Treppe zu erreichen.

Diese Mitteilung wird ein Einzelfall bleiben, wir werden weiterhin auch in Zukunft keine Aufrufe oder andere politische Themen auf diesem Wege verbreiten.

Hey English-speaking people,

we as the student council want to draw your attention to the initiative TVStud – this is especially relevant to those of you who work at student's jobs at the department of mathematics: Those working student jobs can probably relate to the poor working conditions and the sometimes low salary. The initiative TVStud is working towards better working conditions and salary for student's jobs at the university. They are in negotiations with the people responsible in Hamburg and in all of Germany. To have more leverage, they organize demonstrations and strikes.   tuesday, November 29th at 17:00 
  in front of the Green Group in the Senate, Burchardstraße 21.

The FSR is independantly working to connect student workers at the mathematics department. If you belong to this group or recently had a job as a student worker at the mathematics department, please get in touch! You can write us by e-mail to fsr@math.uni-hamburg.de or meet us in person in the TG in the Geomatikum, room T30. Access is only possible by the stairs.
